Yoga

‘Yoga is not about touching your toes or standing on your head or folding yourself into a lotus pretzel. It’s about how you do what you do and how you live your life on a moment-to-moment basis.’ Erich Schiffman.

Friendly classes taught in Bovey Tracey to enable you to practice at your own pace.

All types of yoga sessions include working on postures, breath work, relaxation and meditation. Within the body and the mind, the aim is to build strength; encourage openess; listen to your own inner voice; find connection with yourself; slow down; pause; and move towards a place of wholeness.

Classes are built around a specific yogic theme, which runs for the 6 week block.

A 6 week block of yoga classes costs £51.

‘Yoga is not about self-improvment; it’s about self-acceptance.’
